Alcon Career Center | Seattle Fall Break Trip

Join Jessica Cates for a Fall Break trip to experience Seattle and all this fantastic city has to offer in terms of business, culture, sports, adventure, beauty and FUN!

 

Who:
Juniors or Seniors in the Neeley School of Business
Sophomores will be considered on a case by case basis after summer pre-registration period for Juniors and Seniors
2.9 GPA minimum
 

Itinerary:
Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15
Morning flight from DFW to SEA airport on Saturday (students welcome to go earlier, but trip programming will not begin until 2 pm on Saturday afternoon)

Meet up as a group in the afternoon to begin exploring the city. Weekend fun to include:

  • Pike Place Market
  • Seattle attractions including Space Needle/Kerry Park, Chihuly Glass Museum, EMP Museum (contemporary culture museum), Argosy Cruise
  • Alumni event to network with Horned Frogs living in Seattle
  • Dinner as a group on Saturday

Monday, October 16 and Tuesday, October 17
Corporate site visits currently planned: Amazon, Microsoft, and Starbucks

Evening flight from SEA to DFW 

Program Fee
$600 for all Neeley students

Program fee includes the following:

  • Hotel accommodations
  • Transportation and expenses related to company and cultural visits 
  • Some meals

Airfare is not included in the program fee.

 

Application/Deadlines:

Registration Form

Monday, September 11 at 5pm
Deadline to submit registration form and payment.

All applicants will be accepted on a first come/first served basis and subject to approval. Trip will be limited to 22 students.  Full, non-refundable payment will be processed after registration form submitted and your payment will secure your place. NOTE: Do not book your airfare until you receive notice that you have been approved for the trip.
