Settle Rick 2016

Rick Settle, BBA ’13 - Chairman
Current: Luther King Capital Management, Fort Worth
Past: Citigroup IBD, Houston
Bio: Rick J. Settle joined LKCM in 2014 and serves as an associate for LKCM Headwater Investments. Prior to joining LKCM, Mr. Settle was a financial analyst for Citigroup and a student research analyst for Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co., LLC. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from Texas Christian University.  Mr. Settle once served as an intern for LKCM.

   
Neuman Nick 2016

Nick Neuman, BBA ‘13

Past: Sterling Group and Lazard IBD, Houston
Bio: Nick graduated from TCU in 2013 with a B.B.A., majoring in Finance with a minor in Accounting. He currently works for Grab, a technology startup in the travel space. He previously worked as an associate at the Sterling Group, a private equity fund, and as an analyst at Lazard, an investment bank focused on M&A advisory.

   
Tice Katie

Katie Tice, BBA ‘12
Current: Texas Children’s Hospital, Houston
Past: Victory Park Capital Advisors, Chicago; Lazard IBD, Houston
Bio: Katie joined Texas Children’s Hospital in 2015 and is a senior investment analyst where she evaluates illiquid investment strategies for the hospital’s foundation. Prior to joining Texas Children’s, Katie was an associate at Victory Park Capital, a private equity firm based in Chicago. Katie has also worked as an analyst in the oil and gas M&A group at Lazard.

Bio: William is an Associate at Pearl Energy Investments, a private equity fund specializing in energy investments in the small to mid-cap space. Prior to joining Pearl, William was an analyst in the Natural Resources Investment Banking group at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he focused on M&A transactions, restructurings and capital market financings, with a focus on the oil and gas sector.  William received a B.B.A in Finance and Accounting, summa cum laude, from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University.

Bio:  Prior to joining LongWater Opportunities, an operationally focused private equity fund, Murphey was an Analyst in the Consumer & Retail Investment Banking group at J.P. Morgan.  While at J.P. Morgan, Murphey worked on mergers & acquisitions, equity, and debt transactions.  While at TCU, Murphey served as an intern for Luther King Capital Management and as Chief Operating Officer of the Educational Investment Fund. Murphey graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University with a B.B.A. in Finance with minors in Accounting and Spanish.

Matt Keim, BBA ‘15

Bio: Matt Keim is an Analyst in Goldman Sachs’ Special Situations Group, based in the Dallas office. At Goldman Sachs, Matt focuses on principal investing, providing capital across the capital structure of middle-market companies from senior secured debt to structured equity positions.
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 2015, Matt was an Intern at Luther King Capital Management.  Matt graduated with honors from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University with a B.B.A. degree in Finance.
