Strength Deployment Inventory


Since people do not come with their own instructional manual (wouldn’t that be nice), we use the SDI as a way for students to identify key differences between individuals to create better working relationships.  Based on Dr. Elias Porter’s theory of Relationship Awareness, the SDI is a tool that establishes self-awareness and provides insights on how to create better relationships and minimize team conflict. Students receive an email with instructions on how to complete the SDI after registering for a debrief session.
