Our mission is to enhance the quality, prestige and national visibility of TCU finance programs by supporting outstanding faculty, mentoring top students, leveraging valuable industry partnerships and assuring excellent employment opportunities for TCU finance students.  

Events and Programs
We present several opportunities for people interested in finance, including student organization, from teens who compete in the TCU High School Investor Challenge to seasoned professionals who participate the Investment Strategies Conference.  

Students can access the 24-hour Bloomberg Terminal and Wharton Research Data Services for the latest information. Finance faculty can apply for a special summer research award to further their research and translate it into outstanding academics in the classroom.

Investment Strategies Conference
The high-powered Investment Strategies Conference is held each Spring Semester at TCU, sponsored by the LKCM Center for Financial Studies and the TCU Endowment Office. The often sold-out event features highly respected investment managers who discuss their strategies to an audience of finance professionals and students.

TCU High School Investor Challenge
This annual week-long summer camp teaches high school seniors stock investing and portfolio management. Each student manages a virtual portfolio over the next several months, then presents the results of his/her decisions at a banquet at TCU in the spring.

Meredith Fraker Thompson Memorial Scholarship in Finance
Top senior TCU finance majors can apply for two scholarships with an award of approximately $6,500, plus internships at Luther King Capital Management in Fort Worth and Simmons & Company in Houston.
