Experiential Learning

At Neeley, learning goes beyond books, tests and the four walls of a classroom.

For example, our MBA students have the opportunity to work on consulting project engagements for paying clients, getting current, hands-on experience that recruiters tell us they look for when hiring full-time MBAs (Neeley & Associates Consulting).

From a mentoring, coaching and senior executive networking perspective, we have developed programs that connect our full-time MBAs to business leaders in their areas of interest (Neeley Speaker Series and C-level Confidential programs).

We also sponsor and support national business case competitions. Here, our MBAs put forward solutions or recommendations on a current issue impacting the organization sponsoring the case competition. An example of this is the annual Neeley Sales and Marketing MBA case competition, that is sponsored by Sony Electronics and which draws MBAs from America's top business schools the last weekend in March.

Initiatives and programs such as those mentioned above provide Experiential Learning opportunities for our full-time MBA students. Experiential Learning is one more way we make sure our MBA graduates enter the workplace ready to add "hit the ground running value" to their hiring organization.
