Neeley Fellows | Student Organization

As Neeley Fellows, all students are automatically members of the Neeley Fellows Student Organization (NFSO). NFSO allows the students to take active role in the shaping of the Fellows programming. It is the student governing body within the Neeley Fellows Program.

The NFSO strives to:

1. Represent and promote the students of the Neeley Fellows Program with the highest
degree of personal integrity and professional ethics.
2. Nurture academic excellence.
3. Provide opportunities to become the best qualified and prepared students for
employment after graduation to complement the formal education process of the Fellows.
4. Develop relationships with the business community.
5. Create opportunities for members of the organization to build lifetime camaraderie
    through social interaction.
6. Serve as a liaison to faculty, administration, university officers, and other student
    organizations.

Each year, NFSO executive board plans a peer mentoring program, orientation sessions for new members, field trips to local businesses, social events, informal dinners, Neeley Week events, Neeley basketball tournament  team, t-shirts, service-learning project, presentations to potential employers about the program, etc.  The students keep an up-to-date, interactive website and contribute to the Neeley Fellows Bulletin, a join publication of the Neeley Fellows Program office and the NFSO.
