| The Neeley Entrepreneurship Center recognizes outstanding entrepreneurship scholarship within the Neeley School of Business and via external organizations. Financial support comes from the Ryffel Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. Neeley Faculty Awards This award is designed to encourage and support high quality research in entrepreneurship, increase the level of publication in top journals and bring prestige and national recognition to the entrepreneurship program at TCU. The awards are also intended to attract and retain top faculty members who produce internationally recognized scholarship. Award Criteria 2005-2009 Winners Dr. Garry Bruton Professor Bruton's research focuses on entrepreneurship and strategic management in emergent markets. His prior research appeared in leading journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Executive, Journal of Business Venturing, and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. Dr. Keith Hmieleski Professor Hmieleski’s research focuses at the intersection of entrepreneurship and psychology, including the leadership, improvisational behavior, and decision-making of new venture founders. His research has appeared in leading journals such as the Journal of Organizational Behavior, Research Policy, Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, and Journal of Small Business Management. Dr. Curt Moore Professor Moore's research focuses on the intersection of entrepreneurship and strategy at the level of the firm. |
