Neeley Fellows Evalutation Criteria Each year, thirty Fellows are selected to recognize the highest levels of academic excellence, combined with leadership, service and strong interpersonal skills. Any Freshman Business student at the Neeley School may apply to become a Neeley Fellow who meets the following criteria:
- a strong academic record from both high school and college,
- demonstrated desire and ability to be a leader,
- track record of community service,
- solid interpersonal skills,
- a TCU GPA of at least 3.25 at the end of each semester of the
freshman year,
- a willingness and ability to complete both the curricular and
co-curricular components of the program until graduation The thirty fellows will be chosen by a selection committee appointed by the Senior Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs. A group interview will be conducted to assess applicants’ interpersonal skills. Applications and resumes will then be reviewed and initially ranked based on objective measures (GPA, SAT scores). Final selections will be based on academic performance, leadership, service, interpersonal skills, letters of recommendation, and overall strength of the application package.
