The BNSF Next Generation Leadership Program develops exceptional undergraduate business students to be the next generation of business leaders. This program focuses on leadership development specifically within the business school major. Armed with an undergraduate business degree from the Neeley School and two years of specialized leadership development, our students stand out from their peers in the job market.

Through action-oriented classes, community service projects, personal coaching, leadership forums and presentations from leaders in a variety of fields, you get first-hand leadership experience, interact with people who are making a difference in their companies and communities, and practice your own leadership skills.

Team leadership skills are essential in today’s business. You and your fellow students will build a team from the ground up to develop successful group dynamics and structure. You will put your leadership skills to the test and learn new ways to foster positive team results.
As part of the Leadership Challenge Course, you will volunteer with a local nonprofit organization to develop a comprehensive action plan that will enhance its outreach efforts. You will use the skills and knowledge you have gained, while you leave a lasting mark on your community.
