About the Management Department If you are interested in the people aspect of business, or want to be your own boss, a management major covers all the skills you need to be a successful manager. These include strategic planning, leadership, entrepreneurship, communication, conflict resolution, team building, creative problem solving, business plans, managing small business growth, human resource management, law, and business ethics.

Our management faculty understand management on every level, from people skills to human resources, and from business plans for start- ups to international strategy. They make all that knowledge available at your fingertips.
Many of our management faculty are entrepreneurs themselves. Several are leaders in prestigious organizations dedicated to management, all are recognized for their research into important areas of business, and most of our staff and faculty have been featured in prestigious academic journals as well as Entrepreneur magazine, Fortune Small Business, USA Today and more.

The Neeley Entrepreneurship Center is one of the best in the country. We actively support and encourage our student entrepreneurs through speakers on campus, networking events, participation in competitions and more. A Neeley entrepreneurship student has won the Global Entrepreneur Student of the Year ™ Award three out of the last four years.
The TCU Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization is the largest chapter of the National Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization, the premier global entrepreneurship network serving more than 140 colleges and universities. TCU CEO informs, supports, and inspires college students to be entrepreneurial and seek opportunity through enterprise creation. It is also one of the largest student organizations on the Texas Christian University campus. TCU CEO provides a range of extracurricular activities, which provide mentoring relationships as well as experiential learning.
