16th Annual TCU Supply Chain Conference

April 3-4, 2018

 

The 16th Annual TCU Supply Chain Conference was held April 3-4, 2018 on the TCU campus. This year’s topic, Transforming Your Global Supply Chain—Visualize the Possible, brought together over 142 supply chain professionals, students and educators. Highlights of the event included an interactive workshop hosted by Esri on geo mapping in the supply chain and a panel of JCP, Michaels and Customs employees who discussed trade compliance and its impact upon business. Tiffany Melvin, president of NASCO (North American Strategy for competitiveness), discussed Trade Relations while Glenn Master, loss prevention expert, and Albert Shen, senior mobility advisor to the Toyota Corporation also addressed the conference. The evening dinner event, co-hosted by ISM-FW, featured the Mayor of Arlington, Texas, Jeff Williams. Mayor Williams, along with conference attendees, recognized the achievements of undergraduate supply chain students from Texas Christian University and the University of Texas at Arlington. ISM scholarship recipients in attendance that evening were Mark Alar, Lauren Hozdic, Ashley Mathew, Benjamin Mayorga, and Petter Gustaffason.
