Fall 2020 Safety Precautions

As the TCU community prepares to welcome our students and our program participants back to campus, we wanted to share some of the efforts we have been making to focus on your health and safety during your visit to our beautiful campus.

We continually monitor the guidance from the CDC & Tarrant County, to review and enhance our plans to provide the safest experience possible for you.  Here are some of the precautionary measures and guidelines we will be following:

  • We will be adhering to current social distancing requirements. Participant seating for all of our in-person programs will be appropriately spaced. As many of you already know, our programs feature smaller cohort sizes to allow for a more connected and effective classroom experience.  Each of our in-person programs will now not exceed 18 participants, less than half the capacity of our classroom, to continue to provide an exceptional experience while allowing for social distancing within the classroom.
  • You will have the flexibility to choose how you participate in our Fall 2020 open enrollment programs.  Each in-person program will also include the flexibility for registered program participants to choose to participate virtually via Zoom.  Instructions for how to participate remotely will be provided prior to the start of each program.
  • TCU has implemented increased cleaning protocols, including extra cleaning and disinfecting in high-contact areas.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available in and outside the classroom for your convenience.
  • All program participants, faculty and staff will be required to wear a mask while in the classroom and other common areas of TCU. Please bring a mask with you to your program.  Masks will also be provided at your convenience when needed.
  • We will continue to provide meals and snacks during our programs using individually packaged items that will be provided for each participant for your convenience & safety.
  • Other proactive measures to ensure the safety of our campus community include:
    • Campaigns to educate students, faculty, staff and program participants on important preventative measures;
    • Reduced travel to the campus and limits on large indoor gatherings in an effort to decrease risk to campus.
  • Additional information on the safety precautions we are following can be found on the CDC and TCU Covid websites.
