The Venture Builder program connects TCU students with underrepresented small businesses and startups to address real-world challenges. This immersive, 16-week experience empowers students to collaborate in cross-disciplinary teams, crafting innovative, actionable solutions that foster growth for local businesses. Through hands-on problem-solving, mentorship and community impact, students develop invaluable skills in entrepreneurship, design and innovation.
At the heart of the process, local businesses present their specific needs and challenges to student teams. Each team evaluates the feasibility, desirability, profitability and design of potential solutions. The program culminates in a closing ceremony where teams present their findings and strategic recommendations to business owners, offering tailored solutions to help drive growth. These presentations create a lasting impact on both the students’ entrepreneurial journeys and the local community.
In partnership with the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), students receive expert guidance from seasoned professionals, gaining insights that will help propel their future success.
