Neeley’s Ranking Increases to No. 14 in the Nation for the Best College for Entrepreneurship by ‘U.S. News & World Report’

The U.S. News & World Report ranking, as well as other ranking increases, attest to the impact of providing a diverse offering of entrepreneurial programs, curriculum that can be put to practice immediately, cross-campus innovation with other schools and community engagement opportunities.

U.S. News & World Report 2024 list for Best Colleges, the TCU Neeley School of Business tied at No. 14 for the best college for Entrepreneurship, an increase of 11 spots since last year.

The entrepreneurship program has strategically incorporated community engagement, as well as a cross-campus approach that involves students and faculty from every school across the TCU campus. That includes TCU’s Burnett School of Medicine with the CREATE accelerator program, said Rodney D’Souza, managing director for the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

“At the Institute for Entrepreneurship, we pride ourselves on transcending traditional boundaries. Our unique emphasis on cross-campus collaboration, robust co-curricular programs, and meaningful community engagement allows our students and faculty to cultivate innovative solutions for real-world challenges,” said D’Souza. “We believe that fostering a vibrant ecosystem of learning and innovation empowers not only our students and university, but enriches the broader community and world beyond.”

Programs like the Horned Frog Investment Network, provide high-quality deal flow and training for accredited investors while educating students, and interested community members. The Entrepreneurial Intern Scholars Program places students in high-impact roles at early-stage growth companies throughout North Texas.

The robust program is layered on top of highly regarded entrepreneurship curriculum that is built and taught by industry professionals and research-minded faculty, said Will Drover, the chair of Neeley’s Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

TCU’s entrepreneurship was also highly positioned in the Bloomberg Businessweek rankings for Full-time MBA programs published one week prior. TCU’s graduate program ranked No. 12 in the nation and No. 2 in Texas for entrepreneurship.

In the 2024 U.S. News & World Report ranking, TCU tied at No. 98 for in the Best National University category and the Neeley School of Business tied for No. 70 for undergraduate programs.
