This spring, TCU Interim Provost Floyd L. Wormley, Jr. announced David Allen as one of the 2024 Deans’ Award recipients. Allen, the Luther Henderson University Chair in Management and Leadership and Neeley’s Senior Associate Dean for Graduate Programs, was named a recipient of the Deans’ Award for Research and Creativity.
Each year, TCU academic deans evaluate the nominees from each college and school to select the deans’ Award for Teaching and the Deans’ Award for Research and Creativity. Three winners were selected for each award and presented with $2,500.
This university award recognizes the leadership and insight Neeley faculty, staff and students consistently see from Allen.
Those who work with Allen say his research is "highly insightful, theoretically interesting, and methodologically rigorous" and describe him as "an outstanding professional colleague—generous with his time and talents, intensely curious about organizational and psychological phenomena, and someone who goes out of his way to help others."
