Larry Lockwood, the Stan Block Endowed Chair in Finance and advisor to the Educational Investment Fund, is honored for his significant influence on the success of students and alumni.

Larry Lockwood helps create investors and Chartered Financial Analysts® who can tackle the complex world of investment management. For his financial expertise and personal approach to teaching, the TCU Neeley Alumni Executive Board chose Lockwood as the Neeley Alumni Professor of the Year.
Lockwood has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses in security analysis and portfolio management at TCU Neeley since 1994, and serves as faculty advisor to the prestigious $1.5 million TCU Educational Investment Fund.
A Chartered Financial Analyst since 1995, Lockwood administers the CFA track program at TCU each spring semester. Approximately 500 TCU students have completed the 88-hour program. He has taught equity investments, debt investments, derivatives, economics, quantitative analysis, corporate finance, alternative investments and portfolio management to aspiring CFA Charterholders at TCU and across the United States and Europe.
Lockwood has been honored with several teaching awards at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, including TCU’s Dean’s Outstanding Teacher Award, the Neeley School’s Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Award, the Neeley Alumni Professor of the Year in 2009.
He holds a PhD and MS from Purdue University.
