Benji Backer, founder and executive chairman of the largest right-of-center environmental organization in the country, comes to the TCU campus to engage in a conversation about taking polarized politics out of environmental challenges. This belief, that nature is nonpartisan, informs his work at the American Conservation Coalition(ACC). For his efforts at the ACC, he has been named to the Fortune 40 Under 40, Forbes 30 Under 30, GreenBiz 30 Under 30, and Grist 50 lists. Backer is an innovative thinker and founder with a focus on making a positive impact in regards to the cross-section of environmentalism, politics, and business.
