Eligibility

  • Must be enrolled in one of Raytheon's top tier target universities in the United States.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Participants must be hirable by Raytheon
  • Participants should be interested in exploring supply chain or operations positions at Raytheon
  • Participants may be sophomore, junior or senior undergraduate students; or first-year or second-year, full-time MBA or Masters students.

Rules

  • Teams of four will be randomly assigned from the pool of participants.
  • A copy of the case will be given to each participant at 9:30 a.m. CST on Friday.
  • Each team will have until 10:00 p.m. CST to work on the case.
  • Friday at 1:00 p.m., a Raytheon representative will be available to answer questions.
  • Teams are allowed to use the internet in preparation of their recommendation and presentation. In the event of any technical problems, the organizer should be notified immediately.
  • Teams are NOT permitted to seek any external help from any individual via any channel of communication. Any team that does seek to contact an external party outside of their team members will be immediately disqualified.
  • Presentations must be in PowerPoint format. No previously completed PowerPoints can be used.
  • Each team will have a maximum of 35 minutes with the panel of judges to present recommendations and answer questions during the preliminary and final round; 25 minute presentation and 10 minutes of Q&A.
  • All team members are encouraged to participate in the presentation but are not required to do so. We recommend that each team member is prepared to answer questions.
  • A timekeeper will cut off the presentation and Q&A after 35 minutes.
  • Attire for the competition is business formal.
